As an Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom wedding photographer, I loved capturing Juliana and Ryan’s special day. It was my third time back at Emerson Creek in just a few months, and I am grateful to have returned again so soon. I got married at Emerson Creek in 2015, and always love coming back to see couples create their own memories at a place that will always be special to me.
With a forecast calling for rain and thunderstorms all day Saturday, I was prepared for a rainy wedding day. Although I knew we would embrace the rain, I’m so glad that when Juliana arrived at Emerson Creek it instantly stopped raining. Juliana and Ryan got the beautiful fall day I know they were hoping for.
Juliana and Ryan decided to do a first look. It was such a sweet and special moment between these two. When they looked away for a brief second they realized that some of the wedding party was also watching, and starting laughing. I love the photo below of these two.
Photos of the bride and groom getting ready are always some of my favorites from the day. These quiet little moments before the excitement of the day unfolds end up being special memories.
Because of the on and off rain in the morning, and a forecast calling for nothing but rain all week, the couple’s outdoor ceremony was moved into the barn. One of the many reasons why I love Emerson Creek is that no matter where your ceremony is – indoors or outdoors – it will be beautiful.
The details and decor at Juliana and Ryan’s wedding were great. I wanted to make sure I mentioned the vendors, because they were amazing! Venue: Emerson Creek Pottery & Tearoom | Stylist: Amy (Emerson Creek) | Florist: Ocie Floral | DJ: Luniks Entertainment Inc | Sweets: Cakes XO | Catering: My Chef
Juliana and Ryan thank you so much for having me capture this special day in your lives. I’m looking forward to capturing more memories for you in the future.
