I had so much fun capturing Shannon and Jerad’s Emerson Creek wedding. It was my second time being back at Emerson Creek this month, and I loved returning again so soon. I got married at Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom in Oswego a few years ago, and always enjoy seeing couples create their own memories at such a special place.
One of my favorite things about Emerson Creek is how the venue overlooks a cornfield. We snuck away away for a few minutes at dinner for some sunset photos of these two. Totally worth it ?
The bride getting ready is something I always look forward to capturing. I love how much anticipation and excitement you can see and feel by looking at the photos.
I thought it was sweet how Shannon had her mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids all present to see her in the wedding dress. You can tell by their reaction how much they all care about Shannon.
Shannon’s bouquet by DLN Floral Creations was absolutely gorgeous. I especially loved how her florist used a protea (a South African flower) in the center of the bouquet. Such a unique and beautiful flower!
Shannon and Jerad’s wedding ceremony took place inside the barn at Emerson Creek. Their officiant did such a great job personalizing the ceremony, and even added some lighthearted humor to it 😉 As I was photographing the ceremony, I loved listening along and learning more about this great couple.
The details and decor at Shannon and Jerad’s wedding were beautiful. I wanted to make sure I mentioned the vendors, because they were amazing! Venue: Emerson Creek Pottery & Tearoom | Stylist: Tina (Emerson Creek) | Florist: DLN Floral Creations | DJ: Music By Design | Sweets: Cakes XO | Catering: My Chef
Shannon and Jerad thank you so much for having me capture this special day in your lives. I’m looking forward to capturing more memories for you in the future.
