As an Ellis House wedding photographer, I had a great time taking Trevor & Ashley’s engagement photos in the country. I met Ashley at a bridal expo back in February that was at the Ellis House. It was great getting to see her again, and I enjoyed meeting her fiancé, Trevor.

Trevor and Ashley are such a sweet couple, and were laughing throughout the session. Trevor even kept making little jokes to help bring out Ashley’s natural smile for photos. It was so cute.

Trevor and Ashley are planning on getting married in 2018. They haven’t chosen a venue quite yet, but they both love the country so they knew that the Ellis House and Equestrian Center in Minooka would be the perfect spot for their engagement photos.

The Ellis House and Equestrian Center is such a great location for engagement photos. With panoramic views of the countryside, white fences, a dirt road, and open fields, it’s the perfect spot for rustic engagement photos.

Trevor brought his new truck to the engagement session. The truck was the perfect backdrop for some fun, country inspired photos of Trevor and Ashley together. It’s always great when couples personalize their engagement session, because then the photos really do reflect who you are as a couple.

Trevor almost always wears his hat, so Ashley made sure that we took a few photos with him wearing it 😉
