As a Chicago romantic wedding photographer, I enjoyed meeting up with Rebecca and Gustavo for their engagement session in the city. Chicago has one of the prettiest skylines. The city has many different hidden green spaces. I love how in just one session, you can get both the garden atmosphere, and also those breathtaking skyline views.It’s always great when you forget I’m there with my camera even if it’s just for a moment. The two photos below capture genuine laughter between this happy couple. 

We started the session at the Art Institute’s south garden. This is one of my favorite places in the city. The beautiful vines make for the perfect photo backdrop.

Rebecca and Gustavo are such an adorable couple, and I enjoyed getting to see them again for their engagement session. I recently took their family photos with their adorable daughter, Olivia. I’m looking forward to photographing more memories for them at their wedding at the Chateau Del Mar this fall.

As the sun was setting, we went to Olive Park. I love this location because it is right on the water, and has gorgeous views of the entire Chicago skyline.Rebecca and Gustavo, thanks so much for asking me to capture this special time in your lives.
