As a Palatine baby photographer, I loved photographing Shay. She has the most adorable toothy grin, and was smiling the ENTIRE time during her 8 month milestone session.

Shay and her mom, Amanda, came to my home studio, and I had the best time hanging out with these two. Shay also has the exact same birthday as me (May 31), so I think it was fate that me met 😉 It was a chilly, February day, but we were all warm and cozy in the studio.Amanda wanted some mommy-daughter photos with Shay, which I thought was so sweet. The photos of these two together ended up being some of my favorites from this milestone session.When I was editing the photos from the session, I took an extra long pause when I came across the photo below. It was such a special moment between these two. I love Shay’s little smirk as she gets a kiss on the cheek from her mommy.

Amanda brought along Shay’s favorite book. Personal touches always make the photos that much more special.

Amanda also brought some of Shay’s stuffed animals, and it was such a great idea. The photos of Shay interacting with her toy elephant and penguin are priceless.
