As a Naperville baptism photographer, I loved photographing this baptism at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Wilmette. David is such a sweet little guy and was all smiles throughout his baptism.Jeanette and her family traveled from California so that their family and friends from the Chicagoland area would be able to see this special moment in David’s life.
I really like how the baptism not only incorporated David with his parents and godparents, but also his siblings, Michael and Sophia.
When the priest gave Michael a blessing, Michael stuck his hand out and gave the priest a high five. It was another fun and special moment from the day.
After the baptism, family and friends headed over to Gather in Evanston. This was my first time at Gather, and I was impressed. It has a modern atmosphere, great lighting, and lots of different activities to keep kids entertained while adults mingle.Sophia is such a sweetheart. She loved playing with the dolls at Gather.
Another great part about Gather, is that there are not only toys, but so many books to choose from. This makes it great for when your child wants a break from playing.
Michael especially liked a book about yoga that Jeanette read to him. He even got to mimic the different yoga poses. It was so cute.
Jeanette’s best friend and her family were also at the reception. They both have kids very close in age, and wanted a photo with all of the kids together. I like how the photo below turned out.
These two girls are so cute. I had to get a photo of them together 🙂
Cousins were also present at the reception. It’s alway quite a process getting this many kids in one photo. I was able to capture this candid photo, which turned out to be one of my favorites since it captures their different personalities.
N Family, thanks so much for asking me to capture this special moment in your lives.
