As a Hoffman Estates family photographer, I was excited when Radhika contacted me about photographing her family while they were in town.

The R Family lives in India, but were in the Chicagoland area visiting family. I’m honored that they chose me to photograph their family while they were town.

After speaking to Radhika over the phone for the creative consultation, I was even more excited about meeting her family. They wanted the session to be fun and for me to capture lots of candid moments.

I always love it when my clients value capturing real moments as opposed to formal images. As a photographer, I enjoy telling stories through my photos.

Some of my favorite images from this session are of Arav and Ishaan. These two brothers’ interactions with each other are heartfelt. You can definitely see the brotherly bond they share with one another in these images.

One of the many things I appreciate about the R Family is that they truly value family. I thought it was so sweet and thoughtful that Radhika and Rahul included their parents in the photos as well.

The Danada Equestrian Center in Wheaton turned out to be the perfect location for this family’s photo session.

I always make an effort to ask the parents to take at least one photo of just the two of them. I know that for many couples, the last time they had a professional photo taken together was on their wedding day. It’s nice to take a moment for just the two of you during a family photo session. You deserve it.
