When Elena first contacted me about photographing the baptism of her son, Leo, I was excited. I feel grateful that Elena asked me to photograph such an important event in Leo’s life.

As a Hoffman Estates baptism photographer, I enjoyed photographing this baptism at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago. The church is absolutely beautiful, and was the perfect backdrop for Leo’s baptism.

One thing that made the day even more special was that about 90 of their family and friends were present for the baptism and reception afterwards. Leo is definitely one special and adorable little boy.

Leo’s expression in the photo below is adorable. I don’t think this little one could be any cuter. 

I like the expressions on Elena and David’s faces in the photo above. You can definitely tell how proud and excited they are for Leo. 

These two boys were so excited to hold the candles. It was another sweet moment from Leo’s special day. 

You can definitely tell in the photo above just how happy and relieved Leo is to be in his mother’s arms 🙂

The photo above is a heartfelt moment between Leo and his godfather. 

After the baptism and some family photos, everyone headed over to Trattoria Gianni in Chicago. The restaurant’s courtyard was a charming spot for this outdoor reception. The flowers and decor made it even more lovely.

Elena and David, thanks for asking me to photograph this special moment in Leo’s life. I enjoyed meeting your friends and family.
