As Chicago wedding photographers, we always love hanging out with couples like Brittany and Ryan. These two enjoy every moment together and were laughing throughout their engagement session.

Brittany and Ryan love to explore and go on walks together. One of the favorite trips they went on together was hiking in the mountains of Colorado.

For their engagement session, we decided to start the session at Cantigny in Wheaton. I haven’t been to Cantigny Park for awhile, and it was so much fun exploring the grounds with these two. Afterwards we headed down the road to St. James Farm for rustic scenery. 

Brittany and Ryan enjoy having wine nights and going on dinner dates. These busy parents also make sure to take the time to relax and chat together when their son goes to bed each night.

Brittany and Ryan love to have FUN (which you can see in this photo below 😉), laugh, and talk for hours with each other.

One of the many things that Brittany loves about Ryan is his devotion to her and their 1-year-old son, James. Ryan always reminds Brittany how much he loves her – both through his words and actions. According to Brittany, Ryan is the best dad and an equal parent.

Ryan loves how Brittany can always put him in a good mood. “Brittany is the best mother to my son I could ever hope for and the way James looks at her melts my heart,” he said.

You can tell by the way they look at each other and also through their words that Brittany and Ryan are the perfect fit for each other. I’m so excited to capture their special day at Emerson Creek next year!
