As a Chicago outdoor wedding photographer, I enjoyed capturing JoAnna and Tom’s engagement photos on a beautiful spring day at the Morton Arboretum.

While going through the photos from this engagement session, I immediately noticed something. There isn’t a single photo where these two aren’t smiling, laughing, or giggling. JoAnna and Tom are such a cute couple, and you can definitely tell how excited and happy they are to be getting married in June.

It’s always great when you forget I’m there with my camera even if it’s just for a moment. The photo below is one of my favorites from this outdoor engagement session since it captures a fun, genuine moment between these two.

It has been cloudy and rainy this spring in the midwest. But on the day of JoAnna and Tom’s engagement photos, we got lucky and the sun was out 🙂

I know that JoAnna and Tom’s wedding will be such a special day for them, and they are looking forward to sharing it with their family. Their 7-month-old son, Tom, will be there, and JoAnna’s daughters, Maya and Emma, will be the junior bridesmaid and flower girl.

JoAnna and Tom are such a fun, genuine couple, and I know that they are going to have an amazing wedding day at Emerson Creek Pottery and Tea Room in Oswego. This will actually be my first Emerson Creek wedding for 2019, and I’m looking forward to being back at the place where I got married, while capturing this sweet couple creating their own memories there.
