With a forecast calling for nothing but rain all week, Alec and Stacy kept hoping they would get a beautiful summer day for their Boulder Ridge Country Club wedding. Well they did, and I’m so happy for these two!Stacy and Alec first met in high school, but didn’t reconnect until years later when they ran into each other at Crystal Lake Brewing. They are such a sweet couple, and I loved capturing their Boulder Ridge Country Club wedding.

This was my first visit to Boulder Ridge Country Club, and it is such a beautiful venue. It has a gorgeous outdoor area for ceremonies, and pretty archways on the side of the building that are the perfect spot for wedding photos.

Stacy and Alec decided that they didn’t want to see each other until their wedding ceremony. While they didn’t do a first look, Stacy actually did one with her dad and it was such a special moment.

Alec’s reaction when he saw Stacy walking down the aisle was sweet. I know they both looked forward to this moment for a long time, and it was so much fun capturing it for the two of them.

One of my favorite moments from Stacy and Alec’s wedding was their first dance. They had practiced for awhile, and all of their guests could definitely tell since they did such a great job. They got quite the applause at the end 🙂

After having some fun dancing with guests, Stacy and Alec headed out for a few minutes to take some sparkler photos with their wedding party. I thought this was such a good idea, and the sparkler photos are some of my favorites from their wedding day.
