As an Arlington Heights wedding photographer, I enjoyed hanging out with this adorable couple. Shannon and Jerad love exploring new craft beers so we made sure to start off the session at a local brewery in Lake Zurich called, The Roaring Table.

None of us had been to this brewery before, but we’re so glad we stopped here. The inside is unique from other breweries I’ve been to. It has a classic feel with beautiful lights, furniture, and an awesome wooden bar top. It turned out to be the perfect backdrop for this couple’s engagement photos.

I’ve been wanting to capture engagement photos at a brewery for a while now, and was so excited when Shannon and Jerad came along. Two craft beer adventurers. Who are also Packer fans. I guess it was meant to be 😉

After finishing their beers, we all headed over to Vehe Barn in Deer Park. This was another new location for me, but I’m so glad we went here. The wooden barn has a rustic look, and is surrounded by beautiful prairie grass.

It’s always great when you forget I’m there with my camera even if it’s just for a moment. The photo below is one of my favorites from this engagement session since it captures genuine laughter between these two.
