As an Arlington Heights newborn photographer, I enjoyed photographing Renee and Matt with their “little peanut” who was 5 pounds 4 ounces when she was born. Meet the newest addition to their family: Laurel.

It’s been almost 4 years since I captured Renee and Matt’s wedding day. I was honored that they thought of me to capture this special time with their first child. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to photograph the different milestones throughout a couple and family’s life.

Laurel actually just turned 1 month old today, so I thought I’d share these photos from when she was just 10 days new. She was so tiny, and loved being wrapped up.I met Renee and Matt through a mutual friend years ago. Renee even stood up as a bridesmaid in my wedding almost 3 years ago. It was so special watching my friends interact with their daughter during the session. It’s clear how much they love Laurel, and are so excited to be parents. The family photos from this session are some of my favorites.
