Josh and Emma planned a weekend trip to Nashville to celebrate their two year dating anniversary. To Emma’s surprise, Josh was also planning a Nashville wedding proposal at Centennial Park.
Because Josh was visiting for the weekend, he wasn’t familiar with all of the places to propose in Nashville. This is something we help all of my couples with – regardless of whether you are a local or not. We want to make the whole process as easy as possible, so the only thing you need to worry about is getting down on one knee.
Josh and I chatted over the phone and he mentioned he wanted a nature background, but something that was still in the city. Centennial Park turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s an iconic proposal location with its central location, beautiful gardens, and Parthenon replica.
I visited Centennial Park and scoped out potential locations for this Nashville wedding proposal, and sent photos to Josh. He was then able to easily decide what option would be best for his upcoming proposal in Nashville.
Josh’s Nashville wedding proposal turned out perfectly for him and Emma. They walked around Centennial Park and then Josh led Emma over to the lake with the Parthenon in the background.
Josh knelt down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him. She said, “Yes!”
Emma had the biggest smile and even started to tear up. It was the sweetest thing getting to see these two take in the moment together.
After the Nashville wedding proposal, we headed over to the Parthenon at Centennial Park for photos. I love how the columns and architecture add something special to these photos.
We walked over to the sunken garden and ended the session by the willow tree. Josh and Emma are adorable together and you can tell in these photos just how excited they are to be engaged.
Josh and Emma are seriously the sweetest. Here’s what they had to say about their experience with me at their Nashville proposal photographer.
“Chelsey photographed my engagement and made the moment even more magical with her kindness and professionalism. I was completely unaware that she was even there until my fiancé pointed her out – she did such a good job at ensuring I was completely surprised. She had scoped out the location beforehand, so she already had spots picked out where she wanted to take photos and expertly choreographed my fiancé and I. She was so sweet as well; she was so respectful of the fact that it was such a personal moment for us and made sure to prioritize our experience. In addition to being a great photographer, she is a sweet person who I was happy to walk around and chat with. The pictures that she has gotten back to us are absolutely gorgeous, and I feel so lucky to have such a special moment captured so beautifully. Everything was perfect, and I could not be more thankful.”
