As a Clarksville TN wedding photographer, I loved capturing Lindsey and Nick’s special day at Venue 5126. These two have a playfulness with each other that made photographing their rustic barn wedding even more fun.
Lindsey and Nick knew each other in high school. A few years after graduation, Lindsey was shopping at Meijer and needed some mini hot chocolate marshmallows. She couldn’t find them! Lindsey saw Nick working and asked him for help. He walked her over to the marshmallows and they started talking. According to Lindsey, “The rest is history! Thank goodness for his great customer service!”
One of Lindsey’s favorite memories is their second date. They went sledding and then ate at Bulldogs. They ended up staying at the restaurant for four hours just talking. That’s when Lindsey knew Nick was special.
Lindsey loves how they can have fun doing anything together. She said Nick has a great heart and is constantly thinking about others. “He is the most thoughtful person I know! And then with me, he is so loving and caring and precious!”
Nick loves how Lindsey is always up for a new adventure and how she truly cares for other people and animals. According to Nick, “Lindsey is very expressive with her excitement and happiness, which usually come out as silly little actions or noises that I find very cute and they make me smile all of the time. When she gets excited or happy, which is most of the time, the little things she does make me happy too.”
Lindsey and Nick love spending time together whether it’s a motorcycle ride around town or camping. They enjoy playing volleyball and softball, and also like hiking and traveling. They would describe themselves as outdoorsy, adventurous, and fun-loving.
As a Clarksville TN wedding photographer, one of my favorite moments from Lindsey and Nick’s wedding day was their ceremony. Lindsey walked down the aisle with her mom and Nick had the biggest smile. I also thought it was so sweet and thoughtful how Nick reserved two chairs in remembrance of his parents who passed away. Each chair had an article of their clothing and a photo of Nick with each parent.
During their intimate outdoor ceremony, Lindsey and Nick shared personal vows they wrote. These two are the sweetest together and I loved seeing how excited they were to become husband and wife.
It was also special getting to capture Lindsey and Nick creating their own memories at the same place where I got married in 2015. I always love coming back to Venue 5126.
Lindsey and Nick’s wedding reception at Venue 5126 was was the perfect balance of simple and beautiful with personal touches. They had a photo of them at each table and for a wedding favor they included a s’mores kit with the story of how they met.
I also want to make sure I mentioned their vendors who helped make Lindsey and Nick’s day even more special. They did such a great job! Venue: Venue 5126 | Hair & Makeup: Patty McGuire Hair & Makeup Artists | Catering: My Chef
I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to know Lindsey and Nick. They left these kind words about their experience with me as their Clarksville TN wedding photographer.
“Chelsey was wonderful! My husband and I had never had professional pictures done before and she made it so easy! From the very beginning, she made herself very available and present in our process! She felt like more than just our photographer because we could tell she really cared! Our engagement and wedding pictures are beautiful and we couldn’t be any happier with them! The lighting looks so natural and she really captured who we are as a couple! One of my favorite things about our experience was that I didn’t notice her at my wedding! During our ceremony, dinner and reception, I barely saw her and I loved that because I never felt like I was in front of the camera – I just got to party on like no one was watching! We highly recommend her!
