As a Batavia family photographer, I had the honor of meeting and photographing The K Family. The family was referred by my aunt who is their daughters’ piano teacher.
When the family contacted me, they mentioned that they would love to have the session at their daughter’s grandparents’ house. The location was the perfect spot for this fun family session. It is set on several acres with a winding path and beautiful, towering trees.
The photo below is my favorite from this session. I love how the light is shining through the trees. There is something beautiful and peaceful about quiet moments like this that are captured in a photograph.
The photo above makes me smile. I told the girls that I would countdown from 10 and then they could throw leaves in the air. I think it’s cute how their youngest sister was still holding the leaves in her hands.
Usually when I photograph a large family it gets a little bit chaotic. Not with these girls! They were well behaved. Even with the chilly weather, these girls toughed it out.
I love how the mom coordinated everyone’s outfits for this family photo session.
For the photo above, the youngest is showing her older sisters an acorn that she found.
I’m so glad that I got the opportunity to meet and photograph this wonderful family. I loved taking photographs during this fun family session in Batavia.
