As a Chicago suburbs wedding photographer, I had so much fun hanging out with Rachael and Aaron for their engagement photos at the Morton Arboretum. Rachael and Aaron are actually one of my winners from a drawing for a free engagement session.
One of my favorite wedding venues is Emerson Creek. I got married there in 2015, and enjoy photographing couples creating their own memories there. I love this venue so much that when I did a drawing for a free engagement session at their rental event, I actually decided to have two winners instead of just one!
I’m so glad that Rachael and Aaron won the engagement session. I had a lot of fun hanging out with these two, and we literally laughed the entire session. They put up with the mosquitoes and even listened to my story about how I had somehow put tortilla chips in my fridge the night before. Let’s just say I’m still trying to figure out that one 🙃One of my goals for every engagement session is to get to know you, and make you feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. This is the key to capturing photos that truly capture who you are as a couple. It’s always great when you forget I’m there with my camera even if it’s just for a moment. The photo below is one of my favorites from this engagement session since it captures a fun, genuine moment between these two.
Rachael and Aaron thanks for hanging out with me, and I know you two will have such a special day at Emerson Creek next year.
