As a DANK Haus wedding photographer, I enjoyed capturing all of the candid moments from Liz and Chuck’s wedding day. Liz and Chuck live in Texas, but celebrated their wedding day in Chicago where they love the city views.

Liz and Chuck’s wedding ceremony at St. Benedict Church in Chicago was absolutely beautiful. The couple was all smiles as they exchanged vows and rings.

One of my favorite moments from this couple’s wedding day was when they walked down the aisle as husband and wife. They were so excited and enjoyed the moment together. Chuck even gave out some high-fives as he walked with Liz down the aisle.

After the ceremony, we headed over to Montrose Harbor. The Chicago skyline at Montrose Harbor was the perfect backdrop for this couple’s wedding photos.

Liz’s two daughters, Mia and Emily were also a big part of the wedding day. Mia was her maid of honor, and Emily was her flower girl. The photos below are some of my favorites from the day. You can really see the special bond that Liz has with her two daughters.

One of the things that Liz and Chuck love about DANK Haus is the rooftop deck with city views. The couple and all of their guests had a great time hanging out there before the reception started.

When I saw all of the homemade details at the reception, I was impressed. Instead of numbers, Liz had names of Chicago neighborhoods represent the different tables. It was such a unique idea. I also loved the beautiful cake that Liz’s friend made.
Another favorite moment of mine from this wedding were the toasts. Liz’s family and friends that spoke did such a great job. They were heartfelt speeches with just a little bit of humor, which is the perfect combination 😉
