When Phyllis contacted me about taking candid and fun photos of her family, I was excited. Extended family photo sessions don’t have to be stiffly or traditionally posed. As a Chicago candid family photographer, I want to capture the joyful moments that tell a story and showcase your family’s personalities.

I love the above photo of these siblings. Liana told her brother a secret, and afterwards Noam was all giggles. 

You can tell how much fun Elliot was having by looking at these photos. He had a great time playing with his mom and dad.

Howard and Phyllis are such good grandparents! I like this photo because it shows how much their grandkids absolutely adore them.

Elliot is a sweet 2 year old. When I was over at the family’s house to show them the photos, Elliot woke up from his nap. He walked into the family room, and saw his grandma sitting on the couch. He smiled and said, “I love you, Gram-Ma.” The way he said it was so adorable, and he definitely put a smile on her face. Later, when I was leaving, Elliot came by the door and said, “Bye, Ches-See.” 

I’m glad that I got to meet and photograph this amazing family.  Enjoy these photos and memories, R Family!
