Courthouse weddings are one of my favorite things to capture. I love how these weddings are intimate, which puts the focus entirely on the love the couple has for each other.

As a DuPage County Courthouse wedding photographer, I enjoy capturing these kinds of moments. 

I’m grateful that Laura and Rich asked me to be their photographer. When they were reciting their vows, I could tell how much these two really love each other. 

Laura and Rich’s DuPage County Courthouse wedding was heartfelt. I waited with the couple at the courthouse for their number to be called. Rich and Laura were definitely excited

Following the ceremony, we headed to Cantigny Park in Wheaton. Besides taking photos, I also videoed and interviewed the couple for a love story film. I loved their responses to the interview questions, and thought I’d share some of them on this post. 

Laura: “I love Rich’s heart, his soul, and his smile. He’s the most caring, compassionate, and understanding person that I know.”

Laura: “I love Rich’s personality and his sense of humor. He’s always able to make me laugh and smile no matter what is going on.”

Rich: “I love that she loves me for me and that I don’t have to be anyone else; that who I am is special.”
